Description
Friars Road in Coventry is set to support the University’s growth ambitions as well as helping to ease the wider housing shortage, by building and managing high-quality, centrally located student accommodation. This 614-bed student development situated in Coventry city centre will have a cinema, gym and rooftop terrace. The accommodation block, on the junction of Friars Road and St Patrick’s Road near to the railway station, will have 614 bedrooms, Walker Modular will supply all Bathroom Pods for the scheme. The building is laid out in a V-shape forming a large private courtyard, where students will be able to study, socialise and relax. Located in the south of the city centre, it will offer residents easy access to shops, bars and the main campus of Coventry University. The scheme is scheduled to be finished before the start of the 2019-2020 academic year.
