TWO Hilton Hotels Secured By Walkers

Walker Modular have landed the contract for TWO new ‘landmark’ hotels in Bournemouth town centre. The Mayor regeneration worth £50m to build two Hilton hotels and 60 apartments for London-based developer, THAT Group, at Terrace Mount, Bournemouth.

The landmark scheme designed by Cube in association with White Ink Architects, consists of a 13-storey 172-bedroom 4-star full brand Hilton hotel with 15 exclusive residential apartments above. In addition an 8-storey 120-bedroom Hampton by Hilton and 45 apartments with a 224-space, 3-storey deep, underground car park and associated landscaping. Work is scheduled to complete in Summer 2015.

Spokesman M J Poole said “Walker Modular is very proud to be playing its part in the regeneration of Bournemouth town centre. This is an important contract win for us which recognises our strong credentials for delivering quality hotel-led mixed-use schemes on time and on budget.”
