Description

This student accommodation scheme contains circa 270 studio bedrooms, in Neville’s Cross west of Durham city centre. The redevelopment of this industrial site is an opportunity to improve the urban fabric along this gateway to the city. Walker Modular will provide all Bathroom Pods for this student Accommodation development in which the scheme is made up of various ensuite studio rooms. The rooms are arranged in several ways across the site in differing building types. Firstly along the street elevation, the rooms are aligned along common corridors creating flats of occupants and secondly they are clustered into townhouses to form various households. This scheme follows in the footsteps of other student accommodation schemes that have been accredited with a BREEAM ‘outstanding’ rating.
