Description

The Gates shopping centre redevelopment in Durham City is to include 253 student bedrooms as The University’s growth increases over the next coming years. Work is to knock down The Gates shopping centre to make room for student accommodation for 253 students. This is part of a £30million redevelopment which will feature the obvious student residences, restaurants, including the Handmade Burger Co, a six-screen Odeon cinema and 23 refurbished shops. Walker Modular will provide Bathroom Pods for this development which is expected to open in two stages between winter 2017 and summer 2018.
