Description

This is another development introduced as part of a plan for the future of student accommodation at the University of St Andrews. The University are continuing with the expansion of University Hall which is situated directly next to the sports centre, and is a short walk from the various Science buildings on the North Haugh. Walker Modular will provide Bathroom Pods for this exciting development which has a completion date of August 2018. The building will be constructed over the 14 months period from July 2017 to August 2018, ready for students' arrivals in September 2018. The development will include a mixture of ensuite or shared facilities, catered or self-catered, to ensure students preferred choices can be met. All bedrooms are being designed with best utilisation of space for storage and use of modern technology, maximising natural light and providing a comfortable feel. Each extension will provide social spaces in the form of kitchen/lounges, study rooms for individuals or small groups with IT facilities, cinema, music rehearsal room, games room as well as launderette facilities.
