Walker Modular introduce this redevelopment of the site 4-10 Forest Road. The redevelopment will comprise approximately 440 bed spaces of purpose-built student accommodation and commercial space at ground floor level. Plans are to deliver a mixed use scheme comprising purpose built managed student accommodation providing approximately 400 bed spaces and 378sqm of flexible commercial/retail units. The project intends to deliver new high quality buildings ranging from 9-17 storeys and intend to complete the scheme August 2019. Walker Modular will provide all Bathroom Pods for this site which presents an ideal opportunity for the delivery of purpose built student accommodation for a number of reasons. There is a significant demand for student accommodation with 184,000 bed spaces needed in London by 2020 and the site is ideally located for purpose built student accommodation being within a 40 minute journey time of 25 of 38 of London’s higher education institutions. The scheme 400 student beds arranged as studio units and cluster flats and generous private amenity spaces within the buildings and externally.
