Currently home to an old BT brownfield site in South Birmingham, this plot on Dogpool lane shall soon be given a new lease of life. Student Accommodation has been sorely needed in Birmingham as the student population continues to grow and in an area surrounded by local amenities and public transport, such an area is a logical place to build it. The beautiful red brick and terracotta exterior pays homage to the local Dogpool Lane Hotel and Selly Park Church, whilst the interior provides a secure, modern facility that will be managed around the clock. All the Bathroom Pods are to be provided by Walker Modular, and the site itself will not include any form of car parking spaces. This development is to be eco-friendly, capitalising on the minimal time it takes to walk the mile to one of 2 local railway stations, and the 15 minutes it takes to reach the University of Birmingham. On the whole, this building will be a charming addition to the area and a delightful place for students to call home.
