Description

Empty for 20 years following previous demolition in the year 2000, the old site of the Burymead House is set to become home to a substantial number of young professionals in Guildford. Walker Modular will supply Bathroom Pods for the development, consisting of 4 new buildings ranging between four and six storeys apiece; offering circa 300 studio flats predominately aimed at housing new graduates and key workers. The Co-living lifestyle has become more popular over recent years, and here, a whole host of amenities have been included into the design with the intent of bring people together. Communal Dining areas, Gym studios and Yoga Studios are just a handful of the social areas designed for the residents use and once everything has come together, the build aims to be a wonderful use for the old site.
