Description

Sitting on the edge of the City Centre, the site of this former car repairs garage is set to become home for over 300 students. Sat comfortably in between both of the local Universities, this location is a prime spot for students, with an easy walk directly into York City Centre and all the beautiful history it has to offer. Walker Modular will manufacture the Bathroom Pods for this modern design, which will sport a mixture of cluster flats and studio apartments, alongside a large assortment of additional facilities including gym and games room. To stand alongside the new structure, a small ‘Pocket park’ has been planned. This will bring additional greenery to the site and allow an outdoor space not only for the residents but for the public as well.
