Description

Once the home of an ‘eccentric’ retail establishment in Northampton, this new site at Orient House has been left despondent since 2017. Now, Walker Modular will be supplying the Bathroom Pods for its new calling, Purpose built Student Accommodation. The build, which offers a selection of student cluster flats, will offer two retail lets on the ground floor with the residential space situated above. Additionally, the development will retain and refurbish some of the original Orient house build, which will no doubt keep the heritage locked in. Set in a prime location with the Northampton City Centre practically on the doorstep, the proposed three storey build sits in a conservation area and has been carefully designed, so that it may harmonise with the 2 listed buildings it calls neighbours.
